This page supplements the Global Privacy Policy and summarises relevant points for users in the European Union, European Economic Area and, separately, the United Kingdom.

Principles

OMNIA applies lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, confidentiality and accountability.

Predominantly local processing

Call and notification analysis, risk results, counters and operational history remain mainly on the device. Android permissions are optional and revocable.

Network Protection uses Android's local VPN API to check compatible DNS requests on the device. Allowed requests are forwarded to the active network's DNS resolver; the remaining Internet traffic is not routed through OMNIA VPN servers. See the Global Privacy Policy for details.

Necessary remote data

Firebase and the License Engine may process pseudonymous technical identifiers, Support ID, plan/licence, Trial, Family slots, transfer references, technical purchase data and strictly necessary logs. If the user purchases the monthly Personal Safety subscription, product, entitlement status and expiry may also be processed to verify access; full payment-card details are handled by Google Play.

Trusted Alerts, if enabled, may transit through Firebase/FCM using minimised metadata only and without the original communication text.

Legal bases

Depending on the processing:

performance of a contract or requested service;
consent for optional functions where required;
legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and licence continuity;
legal obligation.

Consent and withdrawal

Where consent is used as the legal basis, it must be freely given, specific, informed and withdrawable. Everyday Security presents explicit consent before automatic protection is enabled; Android Notification Access is then authorised separately in system settings.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Rights

Where applicable, data subjects may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent.

Requests: info@omniashield.com. OMNIA will handle requests within the time limits and under the procedures required by applicable law. Users may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

International transfers

Transfers of personal data outside the EEA or UK, where applicable, must use a mechanism recognised by law, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK IDTA/Addendum, the Data Privacy Framework where relevant or another valid safeguard.

Children

Features concerning minors must be used with parental/guardian authority where required. The app is not designed for independent use by children under 13. Digital-consent age thresholds may differ between countries.

Accountability

OMNIA keeps app, website, Google Play Data Safety and technical-provider documentation aligned. Any requirement for a DPO, local representative, data-protection impact assessment or further compliance measure depends on the actual scale and nature of processing and is assessed where applicable.
