Terms and Conditions of Use
OMNIA SHIELD SUITE
Version 2.1 — 31 July 2026
Installing or using the app constitutes acceptance of these terms.
1. Nature of the service
OMNIA SHIELD SUITE is a digital-security assistance tool. It locally analyses events made available by Android and flags possible risks. It does not guarantee detection of every threat and may produce false positives or false negatives.
The app does not replace law enforcement, emergency services or legal, investigative, medical or professional advice.
2. Permitted use
Users must use the app lawfully and respect third-party rights and platform rules. Use for covert surveillance, unlawful control, unauthorised access, stalking, discrimination or abusive data collection is prohibited.
3. Permissions and user responsibility
Android permissions are optional, but some modules cannot operate without them. Users are responsible for configuration, device protection and verification of alerts before taking action.
4. Trial and Free plan
The Trial lasts 21 days from recorded first activation and provides temporary access to the applicable functions. At expiry, the app automatically moves to the Free plan unless a valid permanent licence exists.
The Free plan includes supported call protection without a licence limit and up to 3 SMS analyses per month, unless a change is clearly communicated in the app and applicable commercial materials.
5. Permanent licences
Basic, Premium, Family, Organization and Enterprise are one-time or contractual licences as stated in the app or applicable commercial offer; personal plans are not subscriptions. They have no ordinary expiry, except following refund, fraud revocation, breach of terms or technical/legal impossibility of continuing the service.
Upgrades between Basic, Premium and Family may require payment of only the difference, as displayed in the app and subject to Google Play product availability. The Call Rules Engine add-on purchased separately on the Free plan is an independent product and its price is not deducted from a later plan purchase or upgrade.
6. Family and devices
The Family licence supports the number of devices shown in the app. The licence holder is responsible for assigning and removing slots and for compliant use by authorised members.
7. Transfer and restore
Transfer moves licence rights to a new device through the provided procedure. Temporary transfer codes and QR codes must be kept secure.
Transfer or restore does not automatically copy counters, history, contacts, messages, preferences or other local data.
8. Purchases and refunds
Payments, receipts, purchasing accounts and refunds are managed by Google Play under its terms. OMNIA does not receive complete payment-card details.
9. Availability
Functions and compatibility may vary according to Android version, manufacturer, permissions, battery restrictions, connectivity, installed applications and changes made by third-party platforms.
10. SOS
OMNIA is not a public emergency service and does not guarantee delivery, receipt or intervention. In a real emergency, users must contact the competent emergency services.
11. Intellectual property
Proprietary software, graphics, marks, text and content are reserved to Andrea Merluzzo, except for third-party and open-source components governed by their respective licences.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, OMNIA is not liable for damage arising from misuse, incorrect configuration, missing notifications, unavailable external services, false positives, false negatives or decisions based solely on an alert.
13. Changes and termination
These terms may be updated for technical or legal developments. Users may stop using the service by uninstalling the app; licence rights remain subject to purchase, restore and transfer rules.
14. Governing law and contacts
Italian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights. Contact: info@omniashield.com.
