Terms and Conditions of Use

OMNIA SHIELD SUITE

Installing or using the app constitutes acceptance of these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. Nature of the service

OMNIA SHIELD SUITE is a digital-security assistance tool. It performs predominantly local analysis and flags possible risks. It may download public threat-intelligence feeds; matching against user content takes place on the device.

OMNIA does not guarantee detection of every threat and may produce false positives or false negatives. It does not replace law enforcement, emergency services or professional advice.

2. Permitted use

OMNIA must not be used for covert or unlawful surveillance, stalking, discrimination, unauthorised access, coercive control or abusive data collection.

Family and Young Protection features may only be used by authorised persons and in compliance with local law.

3. Consent and permissions

Android permissions and special access are optional, but some functions cannot operate without them.

Everyday Security requires explicit consent before automatic protection is enabled and Android Notification Access. Users may disable the main protection or individual controls.

Trusted Alerts requires voluntary configuration of Alert Contacts. Enabling the feature authorises transmission of minimised metadata required for the alert, not the original communication text.

4. Trial and Free

The general Trial lasts 14 days from recorded first activation. At expiry, the app moves to Free unless a valid licence exists. This Trial does not require a purchase and does not automatically convert into a subscription.

Free includes basic Call Protection and up to 3 SMS analyses per month. Optional permanent unlocks available on Free are shown on the Plans page.

5. Licences and add-ons

Basic, Premium and Family are permanent one-time personal licences. Organization Starter and Organization Plus are organizational licences as shown in the app. Enterprise follows the applicable commercial offer.

The monthly Personal Safety subscription is separate from the one-time licences. Where available, it provides access to Personal Safety and Network Protection through the local VPN if the latter is not already included in the Basic plan. The price, billing period, any introductory trial and offer terms are those shown by Google Play before confirmation.

Upgrades may require only the price difference displayed in the app.

Call Rules Engine may be purchased separately on Free and is included from Basic. Elderly & Vulnerable Protection may be purchased separately on Free and Basic and is included in Premium and Family.

6. Family and devices

Family protects up to 4 devices in total (1 primary + 3 additional). Family Guardian is separate from Alert Contacts and SOS contacts.

7. Transfer and restore

Transfer moves licence entitlement to another device and deactivates the previous association for that licence. History, contacts, messages, counters and local preferences are not automatically copied. Purchase restore is separate from transfer: it checks purchases already made with the Google Play account and realigns available entitlements, without automatically transferring local data or a licence already moved to another device. Temporary codes or QR codes must be protected.

8. Purchases and refunds

Google Play manages payments, receipts, refunds and purchasing accounts under its terms. OMNIA does not receive full payment-card details.

The Personal Safety subscription automatically renews for the period stated by Google Play unless cancelled before renewal. If Google Play offers a free trial for the subscription, its duration, subsequent price and terms are shown before enrolment; unless cancelled before the offer ends, the paid period begins under the terms displayed. The subscription can be managed or cancelled through Google Play. Cancellation stops subsequent renewals; any remaining access is handled under Google Play's terms and applicable law. The general 14-day Trial is separate and does not start or renew this subscription.

Mandatory consumer rights concerning withdrawal, refunds and other protections depend on applicable law and are not waived by Google Play's terms.

9. International availability

Features, data sources, emergency numbers, prices, taxes, Google Play products and compatibility may vary by country, platform, Android version or legal availability. Availability in the app or on Google Play does not replace permissions required by local law; some features may not be available or usable in certain markets.

Users are responsible for using the service in compliance with the law where they use it.

10. SOS

OMNIA is not a public emergency service and does not guarantee delivery, receipt or intervention. In real danger, users must contact the competent emergency services.

11. Children

OMNIA is not designed for independent use by children under 13. Features concerning minors must be configured by a parent, guardian or other authorised person where required by law.

12. Intellectual property

Proprietary software, interface, marks, text and content are reserved, except third-party and open-source components governed by their respective licences.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OMNIA is not liable for harm resulting from misuse, incorrect configuration, external-service unavailability, false positives, false negatives or decisions based solely on an alert.

Mandatory consumer rights under applicable local law remain unaffected.

14. Changes

Terms, features and documentation may be updated because of technical, regulatory or platform developments. Material changes will be communicated appropriately where required.

15. Governing law

Italian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights granted by the law of the user's country and any local rules that are compulsorily applicable.
