OMNIA SHIELD SUITE is developed and published by Andrea Merluzzo.

Purpose and limits

The app provides preventive digital-security tools based on Android permissions and predominantly local analysis. It is not a traditional antivirus, investigative service, public emergency service or an absolute guarantee against fraud and threats.

Plans and licences

Free, Basic, Premium and Family follow the features shown on the Plans page. One-time purchases remain permanent under the conditions shown in the app.

The app also offers one monthly Personal Safety subscription that includes Personal Safety and Network Protection through Android’s local VPN; they are not separate purchases. In Italy, the price is €2.99 per month; other countries use the price shown by Google Play. Any 14-day trial depends on availability and account eligibility. Basic retains its existing Network Protection access. Advanced manual SOS and SOS recordings remain subject to the SOS licence shown in the app.

Personal Safety and communications

Personal Safety sessions are configured by the user. After three unanswered reminders, an SMS may be sent to the only configured trusted contact, through the SIM and with the required permissions and consents. Location is optional and included only if authorised for that session. Delivery and coverage are not guaranteed; carrier charges may apply. This feature does not replace emergency services.

Network Protection

The Android VPN operates locally on the device and checks compatible DNS requests. Allowed requests are forwarded to the active network resolver; browsing traffic is not routed through OMNIA VPN servers.

Third-party services

Google Play manages purchases, subscriptions and refunds under its own terms. Firebase/Google Cloud supports authorised remote functions such as Trial, licences, technical identifiers, transfers and Trusted Alerts. The in-app notices describe data, purposes and retention.

International privacy and children

The app’s Privacy Policy and GDPR documentation describe processing and applicable rights. Applicable laws depend on territory, business activity and actual processing. The app is not designed for independent use by children under 13; any local age and parental-consent requirements apply.

Responsible use and intellectual property

Covert or unlawful surveillance, stalking, unauthorised access, discrimination and uses that violate third-party rights are prohibited. The mark, interface, text, graphics and proprietary code are reserved; open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.
