This page summarises how OMNIA SHIELD SUITE applies the main GDPR obligations and rights. The Privacy Policy is the reference document for data processing.

2. Principles

OMNIA SHIELD SUITE is designed around lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, confidentiality and accountability.

3. Mainly local processing

Depending on enabled modules and granted permissions, the app may locally process caller identifiers, data made available by Android notifications, selected contacts, location during authorised SOS functions, selected files, settings, counters and technical events.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Data may be processed to provide requested features, save preferences, run enabled modules, manage support, ensure technical security and comply with legal obligations. Legal bases may include performance of the service, consent, legitimate interest or legal obligation.

5. Retention

Local data normally remains on the device until deletion, clearing of app data or uninstalling. Support communications are retained only for the time required to manage the request and applicable obligations.

6. Recipients

OMNIA does not sell personal data or use it for advertising profiling. Data may be disclosed when the user starts a sharing action, contacts support, uses stores or external services, or where required by law.

7. Data-subject rights

Where applicable, users may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and protection against solely automated decisions producing significant legal effects.

Requests may be sent to info@omniashield.com. The controller responds without undue delay and normally within one month, subject to permitted extensions.

8. Complaints

Users may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.

9. Minors

The app is intended for adults. Use by a minor requires supervision and authorisation by a parent or guardian.

10. Automated decisions

Local analysis provides probabilistic indicators and may be inaccurate. OMNIA does not use these results for solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

11. International transfers

OMNIA is not designed to autonomously transfer locally analysed content to its own servers. Transfers may depend on stores, providers or external apps selected by the user.
